Born and raised in Welland, Ontario, G.D. Stickles has embraced a variety of roles throughout his professional career—from restaurateur and accountant, to copywriter and featured columnist—each one shaping his voice and strengthening his storytelling craft.
His debut novel, The Purging of Paradise, was published on July 31, 2025 by Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie Publishing (London, UK). The book has already earned significant recognition, including a nomination for the 2026 Crime Writers of Canada Awards of Excellence – Best First Crime Novel.

The Synopsis
